Parent Teacher and Family Organization (PTFO)

Our PTFO is open to teachers and family members of students enrolled at John Bidwell.  The cost of membership is a five dollar donation per family.  The purpose of the PTFO is to raise money and organize activities that support and nurture the children of John Bidwell Elementary.

What does the PTFO do?

Our main focus is providing enrichment programs for the students and parents, as well as, to provide support for the teachers and the office at John Bidwell School.

PTFO Updates

PTFO will hold its monthly meeting in the office staff lounge.  We will be discussing the upcoming year, fundraising, and monetary requests.  Please join us!

We will be hosting our annual bake sale in November.  We are in need of donations of cookies, cupcakes, and other items.  We will keep you posted with information about the specific date and time.

I don’t have time to get involved

You can pick the level of involvement that meets your schedule and needs. It doesn’t take much to make a difference. Discuss other ways to support our school with your child’s teacher or administrator.

Bidwell Wishlist

As school funds become even more scarce teachers are having trouble keeping the basics in class.  Can you donate any of the following?

  • white board markers
  • clorox wipes
  • hand sanitizer
  • erasers
  • toilet paper tubes
  • paper towels
  • ziplock baggies
