To improve our service to families and students, we are giving
teachers dedicated time every week to plan together. Research
shows that educators who collaboratively discuss and plan their
work are more effective in the classroom.
To accommodate this collaborative time, we will be adjusting bell
schedules for the fall and releasing students early on Thursdays.
All other days, students will stay in school a little longer than
last year. Please see our new bell schedule for details.
7:45 am : Playground gates open. Please do not arrive
before 7:30 am as there is no supervision for your chidren.
Dismissal. Please pick up your children by 2:45 pm.
There is no supervision after that time. Expect a phone
call from the office if your child is not picked up by 2:45
pm. Repeated late pick-ups may be reported to
authorities.
SAFETY NOTE: Please use the crosswalks when arriving and
leaving school. DO NOT JAYWALK or DOUBLE PARK! Police
officers will ticket you if they see you. For the safety of
your children, OBEY THE LAW!
To report your student’s absence, please complete this webform or
call the office at (916) 395-4610.
Read each option thoroughly and select the reason that best
describes your student’s absence. Please note that office staff
may call to verify as necessary.
Allow 1-2 school days for attendance to be processed.
