What’s Happening at Bidwell…
To improve our service to families and students, we are giving teachers dedicated time every week to plan together. Research shows that educators who collaboratively discuss and plan their work are more effective in the classroom.
To accommodate this collaborative time, we will be adjusting bell schedules for the fall and releasing students early on Thursdays. All other days, students will stay in school a little longer than last year. Please see our new bell schedule for details.
Weekly teacher planning sessions are vital to helping our schools maximize their full potential to support students. Teachers will be better supported, too, and students will benefit from this collective approach to learning.
